Meet Our Team Leader
Ian Katz has focused on residential real estate sales in Manhattan and brownstone Brooklyn for over 14 years.
In 2008, Ian began as one of the youngest individual agents at a major Manhattan real estate firm's East Side office, quickly earning his broker's license and multiple Multi-Million Dollar Club awards.
In 2013, Ian left to start his own agency, Ian K. Katz Residential, LLC. Over the course of eight years, Ian became one of New York’s most accomplished independent brokers with $180 million in aggregate sales, earning his firm an Inman News Innovator Award nomination for Most Innovative Brokerage Company.
Ian now leads the Ian K. Katz Group at Compass, powered by the firm's innovative end-to-end technology platform that supports the entire buying and selling workflow.
